We are thrilled to share the fantastic results of  🇬🇧Team GB 🇬🇧 at the 2-day International Mathematical  and Logical Games Final, held in Bocconi University (Italy, Milan) on 25-26 July, 2026! Competing against top mathematical talent from around the globe, our team delivered exceptional performances across multiple categories, bringing home two 1st place champion titles and several top-10 finishes.

Highlights & Individual Standings

CE// Category (Parallel)

• Samuel Stuart took 1st Place in the world with a score of 10 solved puzzles in just 43 minutes!
• Yison Li delivered a strong performance, finishing in 5th Place (8 solved)!

CM Category

• Monica Stuart earned an impressive 10th Place finish in competitive 63-contestants group, solving 15 puzzles!

C1 Category

• Yusuf Shah secured 1st Place globally amongst 88 contestants with a maximum score of 22 solved puzzles in amazing 120 minutes!

C1// Category (Parallel)

• Solomon Stuart placed 4th with 21 solved puzzles in 130 minutes!.

L1 Category

• Anoushka Bouri placed 38th in a highly competitive division, solving 24 puzzles!

L2// Category (Parallel)

• Josh Turley achieved a fantastic 7th Place finish with 27 solved puzzles!

GP// Category (Parallel)

• Rico Li represented GB in the General Public parallel category, placing 19th with 23 solved puzzles!

Place: Coventry University, Frank Whittle (FW) building (Faculty of Engineering Environment and Science)

Parking: You will be able to use CU Student Car Park (a.k.a. Beatrice Shilling Car Park, use CV1 2SU for SatNav) for free, print the attached parking permit [sent via e-mail] and display behind the windscreen (if you didn’t get it, you will get one at the Reception to the FW building). The car park is behind the Beatrice Shilling building off Gulson road. See screenshot of the map on how to get from parking to FW building.

• CE    Year 5 students     5 problems, max. 60 minutes
• CM    Year 6-7 students     8 problems, max. 90 minutes
• C1    Year 8-9 students     11 problems, max. 120 minutes
• C2    Year 10-11 students     14 problems, max. 180 minutes

• L1    Post-mandatory school students     16 problems, max. 180 minutes
• L2    University students     18 problems, max. 180 minutes

• GP    Adults, general public     16 problems, max. 180 minutes
• HC    Adults, top-level competition     18 problems, max. 180 minutes

Rules:

For ranking purposes, in each category, in order or priority:

• 1) most correctly solved problems;
• 2) if tied, most points;
• 3) if still tied, least time;
• 4) if still tied, youngest participant first.

No calculators, computers, phones, etc.

Allowed material: pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, protractors, compasses, scissors.

Top qualifiers from each category will be able to participate in the International Finals, which this year will be held on 25 & 26 July 2026 in Milan, Italy.

Dear All

The International Final will take place on Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th, 2025, in the city of Mahdia, Tunisia at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Mahdia.

Mahdia is a coastal city located 208 km from the capital Tunis (which has the Tunis-Carthage International Airport) and 40 km from the city of Monastir (which has the Habib Bourguiba International Airport). The Local Organising Committee (LOC) has scheduled to welcome participants starting from Thursday, August 21st, and departures are planned for Monday, August 25th, 2025.

• Registration fee: 15 EUR
